A classroom with small tables and chairs, a colorful square-patterned rug, wooden shelves, a toy push cart, and a wall-mounted air conditioner. The room is well-lit, with a minimalist design and open space.

The Challenge

The Rowen Street Kindergarten (RSK) required a comprehensive refurbishment to modernise its facilities. Key issues included outdated infrastructure, limited accessibility for people with disabilities, an old-fashioned administration area and an inadequate security system, all of which needed upgrading to meet contemporary standards.

Our Solution

Black Sheep embarked on a full-scale refurbishment of RSK, which focused on creating an accessible space that caters to all abilities. This included redesigning the entry forecourt for better accessibility, transforming the administration area into a welcoming space and implementing a state-of-the-art security and check-in system for enhanced transparency and safety.

The Outcome

The revitalisation of RSK has resulted in a fully modernised, secure and accessible kindergarten. The new entryway and sensory gardens offer an inviting atmosphere, the administration area is now a friendly and open space and the upgraded security system ensures the safety of all children. This transformation has effectively positioned RSK as a leading, future-ready educational facility.
