The Challenge
Built in the 1970’s, this iconic meeting place has been used by thousands. Black Sheep was contracted to improve mobility and access for the Library. The sequencing of the work was carefully planned to navigate the challenges of limited space and the complexity of nearby main roads during construction.
Our Solution
The ramp and stairs were redesigned and constructed to enhance accessibility and aesthetics. Upon completion, the entrance of the library was transformed, resulting in a visually impressive and functional design that seamlessly integrated both elements.
The Outcome
The design comprised integrated lighting into the feature handrails, which became a striking focal point of the entrance as the sun set, creating a captivating visual effect that highlighted the architectural features.
