The Challenge
At the start of 2023, Black Sheep was commissioned to refurbish St Justin Primary School for the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). The challenge lay in enhancing accessibility and updating facilities without compromising design, all within budget and time constraints, in a live educational setting.
Our Solution
Working in tandem with architects, Black Sheep introduced inclusive features at St Justin Primary School, like an undercover learning area and retractable glazed doors, creating a fluid and accessible learning environment. Our focus was on fostering inclusivity and enhancing functionality in a live school environment, aligning with the school’s educational goals.
The Outcome
The transformation at St Justin Primary School led to an inclusive, modern educational space. Our comprehensive refurbishment, which included upgrading classrooms and civil works, was completed efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to school activities.
