The Challenge

To support the councils, focus on the priorities of the local community, which include open space and recreation. To support future events and growing community use, the Pavilion was to undergo a major extension and upgrade. The challenge lay in seamlessly integrating modern amenities with the existing structure, while delivering a commercial kitchen, dry storage, gender inclusive changerooms and amenities, and a versatile social space.

Our Solution

We along with our partnered contractors delivered a thoughtful, modern extension designed for both function and aesthetics. Key features included a glazed façade, allowing natural light to flood the space while giving spectators uninterrupted views of the games. A spacious, muti-purpose social area, finished in bright, modern materials to create an inviting setting for post-match gatherings, community events and club meetings. A fully operational commercial kitchen and bar, capable of servicing large events efficiently. New gender inclusive changerooms and amenities seamlessly incorporated to meet the club’s growing operational needs. The careful structural integration between the new and existing buildings, ensuring durability, visual consistency and code compliance.

The Outcome

The upgraded pavilion is a high-quality, future proofed facility that will support the club’s operations and community engagement for years to come. With enhance comfort, functionality, and hosting capacity, the club is now well positioned for foster team spirit, host social functions, and encouraged healthy, active lifestyles.
